Pilot Life for Android

Your Android device can be optimized to reduce issues when using Pilot Life while flying, specifically GPS accuracy.

Make sure that your device has a clear view of the sky when using Pilot Life for best results.

Please follow these steps to optimize your device for Pilot Life:

• Turn your device off and back on

• Turn Location off and back on

For Android 12 & above:

• Tap and hold on the Pilot Life app icon and tap on App info

• Tap on Battery and select Unrestricted

• Tap back

• Tap Location and select Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app

• Toggle Use precise location to ON

For Android 11 & below:

• Tap and hold the Pilot Life app icon and tap on App info

• Tap on Battery and select Optimize Battery Usage

• Select All from the dropdown menu

• Toggle Pilot Life to OFF

• Tap back

• Tap Location and select Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app

• Toggle Use precise location to ON
